In yet another sign of the App Store's imperfections, Apple has banned the third largest App Store developer, getting rid of almost a thousand applications. Once you see what applications they "developed", you will see why.

Apparently there really is an app for everything, even one to tell you when to go to the bathroom. Yes, the iPhone has apparently replaced the brain.

If this rumor holds up, Apple could soon be phasing out the iPhone 3G in favor of an 8GB version of the iPhone 3GS.

This looks like great (it is a mix of Bash and AppleScript) and it works very well for me. However if you are not familiar with simple Unix administration, you might prefer packaged freeware or shareware like StartupSound.prefPane or Psst.
