Nokia has responded to the iPhone 4 antenna controversy saying that they 'prioritize antenna performance over physical design if they are ever in conflict.' Pretty interesting stuff.

More news Leaked Lost in all of the buzz surrounding the iPhone 4 antenna fiasco was the fact that Apple has three new job listings for antenna engineers. Well, that is until Engadget unearthed them after sitting unnoticed since June 23rd, or one day before the official launch of the iPhone 4 and the very same day that the now infamous reception issues came to light. Here's a little snippet from the job description.
Mark Papermaster, the Apple executive in charge of hardware for the company's Leaves After Antenna Troubles. It is not clear if Mr. Papermaster was ousted or left on his own accord. Flagship iPhone, has left the company in the wake of widely reported problems with the antenna of the recently introduced iPhone 4. The New York Times reports that Apple spokesman, Steve Dowling, confirmed Mr. Papermaster's departure. Mr. Dowling said Mr. Papermaster "is leaving the company and Bob Mansfield, senior vice president of Macintosh hardware engineering, is assuming his responsibilities.

iPhone4 is in the stores and so are the complaints for some flaws. The biggest one is related to the antenna, placed on the left. If you are left handed and hold the iPhone as a left handed, then the antenna can't get the signal... Some early users (see video) claim this is due to a software problem.
Another issue is related to scratches. Apparently the new iPhone scratches very easily.
On YouTube and forums there are reviews and unboxing videos, and of course a lot of them are reporting minor or major issues in the new iPhone4.
Steve Jobs has responded to an angry iPhone 4 owner's emails and again has denied that antenna issues exist claiming that they are rumor. Hmm, well, that's interesting.
