Waste is a problem. Fortunately there are things that we can all do about it. We call these the 3Rs - reduce, reuse and recycle.

The Earth is getting warmer because people are adding heat-trapping gases to the atmosphere, mainly by burning fossil fuels. These gases are called greenhouse gases. Warmer temperatures are causing other changes around the world, such as melting glaciers and stronger storms. These changes are happening because the Earth's air, water, and land are all linked to the climate.

A fun and educational reference to learn about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling, to increase awareness and concern for the environment among school aged children. The hard fact of today's world is that global warming and deforestation are taking their toll on the health of our planet.
