A new iPhone application hopes to use crowdsourcing to help with an eternal New York problem: How do you find a parking space in New York City?

When you first purchase your Apple iPad, the feeling will be exciting because you got a new device and it's running very fast. Later on, you will feel like things are sometimes not functioning well and your storage device space has gone away rather instantly. Maybe history, cookies and cached files using lots of space than you would wonder, or maybe a specific iPad application is having issues with history, cookies or cached data and can't refresh with new data. Using any internet browser without clearing the history, cooking or cache can cause issues over time, and the Apple iPad browser is no different.

Google maps are great for basic directions but for the directionally challenged, it's not so easy to use while driving. Enter G-Map, the first application for the iPhone that gives users turn by turn directions to any place in the US. Unlike Google Maps, G-Map is designed with a driver in mind giving users real time prompts and a driver's perspective of the road as you go. Our friends over at KickingTires took the app out for a test drive and gave it top marks.

Battery issues with the iPhone 3GS have led Apple to contact some customers to get first-hand reports on what may be causing premature draining, according to users on Apple's forums and the iPhone Blog enthusiast site.

The AP Mobile app from the Associated Press was much admired when the iPhone first came out. It was quick and reliable, and at the time, it was one of the few dedicated news apps. Now, after a few revisions and updates which didn't go so well, AP Mobile is still a popular download, but for many, that's where the popularity ends.
