Will the iPhone 3.0 finally be able to do cut and paste? | iPhone News Updated - 0 views

  •
Yes, it will. And what better way to demonstrate the most obviously "missing" feature on the iPhone than by booking a flight that would get you Lost? "I'm going to reserve a seat on Oceanic flight 815," said Scott Forstall, the senior vice-president of Apple's iPhone software development, on Tuesday as he showed off the method by which one can highlight text in an email - and from there choose cut, copy or paste. The fact that Oceanic 815 is the one that in the TV series Lost crashes on to the mysterious island where nothing is quite as it seems was not lost on the audience at the company's Cupertino headquarters.

Apple Apps That May Never Find Their Way to Your iPhone | iPhone News Updated - 1 views

  •
Nothing in this world is perfect, and the Apple iPhone is no exception. Lines that extend for who knows how long inundated AT&T and Apple stores the day the latest model came out, but bottom line is that users have mixed reactions regarding the device itself.

When an employee at AIM Media lost his iPhone containing company e-mails and other sensitive data last year, there was nothing to be done except hope that whoever found it didn't care to snoop.

Waiting and hoping for someone... anyone to port Crystal Quest to the iPhone. I'd search for it almost everyday in the iTunes App Store but nothing even close was introduced. Well the wait finally ended!

As some sort of New Years' gift (or something), Google has alerted the general public to an easter egg found within the Google Mobile app for the iPhone. There's nothing too crazy included in the easter egg, but one feature I actually found quite useful… Keep reading and I'll tell you about it.

Connect with friends using an iPhone GPS app contact locator system called iLOCi2. - Vi... - 0 views

  •
There is nothing like being able to quickly locate a friend. The Iphone GPS App call iLOCi seems to be the very best in class. I do not think you can beat the price that's for sure! A Bi-directional GPS App for the iPhone for $2.99 is enough to make me want to own one!

Getting Started with Firefox extension - Diigo help - 0 views

  •  Feature Highlight: Highlights Diigo saves the day with "highlights". Highlights let you select the important snippets on a page and store them in your library with the page's bookmark. Let's try it. Just open a page, maybe one of your old-school bookmarks or one of your new cat bookmarks, and find the information on that page you actually care about. Select that important text. Got it? Okay, now put your hemet on, 'cause this might blow your mind! Click the highlight icon on the Diigo toolbar. It's the one with the "T" on a page with a yellow highlighter. You will notice that the selected text gets a yellow background. This means that the text has been saved in your library, and as long as you have the Diigo add-on the text will be highlighted on the page! How's that for easy?   Now you've highlighted the text. It will appear in your library within the bookmark for the page it is on. Go to your library and you can see how it works. If you're not sure how to get to your library, just click the second icon on the toolbar (Diigo icon to the left of the search bar) and then select "My Library »".
  • Sticky Notes on the Web What? I can put a sticky note on a web page? How? Oh, that's right! Diigo. Just right-click anywhere on the page and choose to "add a floating sticky note". Type up your note and choose "Post", then move the note anywhere on the page. You have to type a note first, before you move it where you want, otherwise there's nothing to move!

Review: Griffin PowerDuo for iPhone and iPod Touch | iPhone News Updated - 0 views

  •
Sometimes just having the default sync cable is not enough. If you use an iPhone 3G, that sucker's battery dies very fast and waiting till you get home/work to charge it just doesn't cut it in certain situations. So, I have been on a quest, a quest to find a great car charger that can double as a general charging/syncing cable. Well, I think I have found it, the Griffin PowerDuo!

As a self-confessed Apple fan boy, I own an original 2G model - such as was my impatience in waiting forever for it to arrive in Australia (like every other bit of technology of course).

We love the iPhone, you love the iPhone (most of you do anyway) and so do millions of other users around the world. It's a great device that empowers users to do almost anything from making calls to checking email, from updating your status on Facebook and Twitter to sending text messages and running a host of cool applications.

Loads of fake Apple shots hit the web: 3G iPhone pre-WWDC edition - Engadget - 0 views

  • Our source who played with the 3G iPhone told us explicitly there is no front-facing videoconferencing camera. Even still, when we were ferreting around the new 3G iPhone firmware today, we were keeping an eye out for altered or additional camera drivers, something to indicate a front-facing camera. Nothing. The text explanation for Exchange and iChat are so bad as to make the whole thing unbelievable. (Apple's doing video chat for Windows? Huh?) But that's not all! Say, wouldn't that exchange logo be in the Apple banner that's up at the Moscone right now? All the other iPhone icons are. No Apple design would be laid out the way this guy's got his page laid out here. Bottom line: looks pretty, but so very fake.
