AppleInsider is reporting that the wireless radio specs in the iPhone 3.0 firmware beta reveal support for a new chip and 802.11n. Current gen iPhones and the iPod touch only support 802.11a or 802.11b/g networks.

There are a few apps in the iTunes App Store that let iPhone and iPod touch users share data and even play games against each other over the Internet. PosiMotion even makes a few. But the developer has gone the extra mile to create hardware to help users within range of each other share and play to their hearts content.

Among the most anticipated features is the addition of stereo Bluetooth-audio streaming (A2DP), which will allow current second-generation iPhone and iPod Touch owners to experience the cutting edge of mobile technology.
