  • PC版Firefoxと同じGeckoエンジンを使い、Firefox 3（Gecko1.9）で搭載したページ全体の拡大表示機能（文字だけでなく画像やレイアウトも含めて拡大縮小できる）を使い、携帯電話の小さな画面でもWebを見やすく表示する。正式版ではFirefox 3.1に搭載されるGecko1.91を使い、よりスムーズな拡大縮小をサポートする予定だという。ユーザーインタフェース部分は違うが、拡張機能も基本部分はPC版と同等だ。 　Firefox 3がうたう、高速なJavaScript処理も、携帯電話へのブラウザ実装を見据えたものだ。「携帯上にFirefoxを載せるというと、CPUパワーが限られるので、パフォーマンスが重要になる」とリリー氏。
