Hitwise has come out with the latest web search trends that shows mobile phones as the most searched for consumer electronics across the web.

The Apple iPhone is currently the most searched for product in the UK, picking up 1.75 percent of all product searches and 14.01 percent of all mobile phone searches during the week ending December 5.
