Taking good care of your iPhone 3G is important, especially since it has that horrible plastic back that's vulnerable to cracks. As you know, cracks on the white iPhone 3G appear to be the most visible, but that doesn't mean they don't exist in black models. I'm still not sold on the iPhone 3G so I don't have one, but if I did I'd take extra good care of it because I wouldn't want to pay another $200 or $300 to replace it.

In addition to offering songs from iTunes without DRM restrictions, Apple (AAPL) also plans on selling songs to iPhone users "over the air"-that is, you can buy them directly from your handset, from wherever you are. I'm told that Apple has struck deals with the major labels to start selling songs to iPhone 3G owners sometime this spring.
