In 2004, a small-budget game produced by Namco called Katamari Damacy took the PlayStation 2 world by storm. Its simple-yet-beguiling gameplay, involving a young cosmic royalty who rolls up balls of found objects called "katamari," proved infectious enough to merit a series of sequels. Well, the Katamari phenomenon at last has made it to the iPhone, in the form of I Love Katamari.

You don't need a crystal ball, seer stone, scrying pool or any other spooky stuff to guess what one of the most talked-about design projects of 2010 will be. The tech blogs have been buzzing about it for months. It's the iSlate, iTablet, iProd, Magic Slate, or whatever else Apple finally decides to call its new tablet computer.

Well, it official. The iPhone 3G is legitimately coming to Thailand. In a recent interview, I had stated that I had some doubts that the iPhone would come to Thailand so soon, citing that they did not have any confirmed deals for content, which is what really rakes in the money in the whole iPhone money machine. But soon after that interview, there were some events which hinted towards a Thailand launch. It now looks like the baby brother in Thailand's trio of major phone operators, True Move, who is often over looked or forgotten, has sealed the deal with Apple. Commenting on the question of what happened to their rumored deal, AIS has stated that the deal with TrueMove is nonexclusive, leaving the door open for speculation that AIS is still in negotiations with Apple.

I didn't think it was possible, but my mom has surpassed me when it comes to dependence on the iPhone. The thing is, it's not for the reasons you might think.

There are a few apps in the iTunes App Store that let iPhone and iPod touch users share data and even play games against each other over the Internet. PosiMotion even makes a few. But the developer has gone the extra mile to create hardware to help users within range of each other share and play to their hearts content.

For hardcore gamers, the iPhone hasn't had much to offer. The games are mostly light-hearted, casual games that you play when you need a short distraction. They're also a big compromise compared to what you can play on traditional game platforms.

Have you played Peggle? This iPhone game came out some time ago and was an immediate hit at the app store for it's strange and extremely addictive gameplay. The game just went on sale for 99 cents, but it will only last until midnight Sunday, June 14.
