Now this is pretty cool what CNET have done, we would have done something similar if we had our hands on the T-Mobile G1.

For the founders of the streaming music service Spotify - and for those in the music industry who'd like to see it prosper - these are nervous days. They have submitted their mobile application to Apple's app store, and its success or failure could determine the future of the company.

The truth is, as they say, in the fine print. This sentiment is no truer than in the world of mobile phones. Plenty is written about the price of handsets, but - especially in the U.S. - that price is nearly always followed by an asterisk. If you want the subsidized price, you're going to have to sign a two-year contract with the phone's wireless carrier.

Wireless broadband has turned out to be a blessing for people on the move. As long as you are within the coverage area, you can send Emails, access your Facebook and MySpace profiles and do tons of other stuff. All this without having to sit in one place. With technology developing at a fast pace, the demands of the user have increased proportionately.

"Methinks AT&T doth protest too much," might have been Hamlet's response to the carrier again denying it will institute data tiers for iPhone users. Attempting to avoid a storm of protests over earlier comments, AT&T Mobility President Ralph de la Vega now tells BusinessWeek: "I guess I should have been more clear."

I LOVE my iPhone. I just wish it were matched with Verizon Wireless, the carrier with the most envied reputation as fast, ubiquitous, reliable, nigh perfect.
