Congratulations on all your hard work this year - you've all impressed me with your hard work and your respectfulness this year. I'm a very lucky teacher to have such wonderful students.
Some of you have not returned the textbooks that you borrowed out from our classroom library this year. This is a real problem as it could jeopardise our classroom library for next year. If you have either Chronicles One or Ancient Greece for Senior Students at home then you need to return it to the College IMMEDIATELY.

I just want to congratulate those of you who used diigo so well during your research. It's disappointing that some people didn't use it at all, however those of you who did should be acknowledged for being willing to share your findings and benefit from the work of others.

Hello everyone

Someone was asking me the other day about finding primary sources for your research and how difficult it is to find them. You can use Aristotle, Herodotus, Xenophon and Thucydides as primary sources as well as any others you can think of (please post them below if you think of them). To get a hold of their works, search within our group bookmarks (or my bookmarks) on diigo for "primary sources" or you could just go to the Internet Ancient History Sourcebook (http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/ancient/asbook07.html and go to 'Athenian Democracy') which is excellent.

If anyone has any other solutions to help people out, please post them below.

Go to the link above, Erik. It has heaps of links for Athenian Democracy primary sources. Look carefully and you'll find things you can use as evidence.

A few people were saying that they're having trouble finding details about Mayan kings. Does anyone have any ideas about how these people can find information about particular Mayan kings?

Please post responses as replies to conversations that are already occurring - don't start a new conversation, as it will fill up our inboxes and make everything confusing.
