I think that it has the ability to be an excellent tool for the purpose of project management the only other thing that i would prefer on it would be the ability to host it on your own servers. i think that it would broaden the user base but in saying that i can see where there coming from its an exceptionally hard situation for a company to judge as to what the right thing is.

Proably should have looked harder for that other than that i cant see a problem with it at all the flexibility is great and ticketing/ task management is excellent

My understanding of web 2.0 and please understand there is no clear defined line as to where web 2.0 starts finishes. Is the interactive web. web pages that update constantly not static sites with no such interaction web 2.0 also encompasses the new aspects of the internet that have only been recently developed and widely used such as social sites and with a focus towards eLearning.

Great list Mark. I'm an old skool community geek and recommend tools to creative groups & not for profits in New Zealand. These days open source solutions are almost always both easier to use and have features that users need. They aren't just scaled down versions of a commercial enterprise system.

Also with an active and open developer community behind them it can be easier to get free support, advice and even modules developed for you. All with no licensing fees, just a lot of goodwill.
