Sort Group Names in Firefox Plugin

I'm trying to find a way to sort the list of groups to share bookmarks with. As a default it appears to be sorting them by the date I joined the group. But now that I've joined 30+ groups it's hard to find the right one quickly.

I'd rather have them sorted alphabetically.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi Todd,

I too am seeking a way to sort my Groups and my Lists alphabetically.

Unfortunately, I have not found a way to do this and this GREATLY LIMITS the utility of Groups and Lists...trying to find something in an unordered list is a PITA.

Todd, you are not alone. If you have found a solution please let me know.

Bookmarking multiple sites in a row...

Hi there,

I am incredibly frustrated with the bookmarking tool. I have been going through a list of around 50 site and bookmarking them via the IE(7) tool. This is a list that I am adding from a personal list (they are not bookmarked anywhere else). I went through all 50 sites, but only the first 18 registered in Diigo. Hence I wasted my time. This has happened a couple of times when I am bookmarking many sites in a row. Why?

Please help :o(

I have seen this as well using Firefox 2 and the latest toolbar. I often mark a bunch of sites during the week without a tag, and then go through them on the weekend and tag them up. I noticed a couple of times this weekend that when I got into working through the bookmarks that a site I had already tagged would not have the changes saved. I verified the URL's were correct,

v3 toolbar

1. The full "Bookmark" action should have an icon, not only text. I prefer moving it to the bookmarks toolbar, so I don't have to keep the entire Diigo toolbar displayed. There it is much easier to detect as an icon, but I believe this is so also on the original toolbar.

2. Optionalize the menubar dropdwon menu. It is very intrusive.

3. The context menu arrangement is also intrusive. I use FF's Customize Menus so it doesn't bother me much, but it is better as a sub-menu. BTW, they don't show on the top even when checked, for me.

The additions to the site look cool. thanks.

I don't mind the Diigo menu in the menu bar.. but i find it a little odd. Most of it's functions are duplicated elsewhere (toolbar, rightclick) so its not really needed. (though I guess it means i could get rid of the toolbar if i wanted)

However Unread and Recently bookmarked would be much more useful as buttons on th toolbar (similar to the messages button. )
A smart "mark read" button would be cool to help you catch up on unread stuff too.

the rightclick options are at the top for me, and I like them. (though again, making them optional would be polite).
Also, i still can't get the search categories to appear directly on the toolbar.

Other than that, i think its a great improvement. good job

I would like to have access to the Unread bookmarks from the toolbar itself. Is that somehow possible? I don't want to use the menubar (I autohide it).

I fully agree with you: Buttons for Unread and Recently bookmarked would be great!

I hear you all!

a few explanations:

- the top diigo menu is there mainly for people who wants to hide the whole diigo toolbar -- will be optional
- context menu: there is an option to set diigo items on the top or not. Is this still not working for you, let's us know.
