Show drop down menu when text is selected button

Sometimes the option can get in the way but at other times it can be useful so I think it would be nice if a user need not go to the Diigo toolbar options everytime to enable it and the enable/disable option be located in the toolbar itself.

Could also be a keyboard shortcut but I think there would be some need for a visual indicator or it could be annoying.

I have created a new group that DOES NOT appear in this list; is something wrong. do I have to set something?

I can only see five groups plus the "-----------" entry.

You can restart FF and see whether the new group appers in the toolbar drop down list.

Nope, no change post-restart.

I have am a member of seven groups...I have created six of these seven groups.

But I only see FIVE groups in the Share To drop-down.

Additionally, one of my groups names contains an ampersand--&--and that group appears in the drop-down but only the part of the name that is to the left of the Ampersand.

Is there any way to RENAME a group? I can't find one.

Perhaps there is a sync problem between toolbar and servers. Are you still having problem and what is your toolbar version (go to toolbar Diigo >>Help >> About to find out).

If you're the group owner, you should be able to edit group display name in "Manage Group"

Try to sign out diigo and sign in again. This will sycn the data.

I am running version 1.0.2007101800 of the Toolbar and yes, I am still having problem with Syncing groups...I only see the same five groups in the drop-down.

and for Group name editing....

I CANNOT edit the "Group Overview."
NB: These groups are private groups. I don't have any public groups; so hold on and I'll make one.

The problems I am having with SYNCING not working is also with PRIVATE groups.

What is GROUP DISPLAY NAME?

I can only edit:attributes in GROUP DETAILS:
Group Details[ Edit ]
Description: This is a test of PUBLIC group management v. PRIVATE group management.
Interests: public,testing
Category: Computers & Internet
Privacy Mode: Public - all can view
Join Mode: Open - anyone can just join

I CANNOT edit any attributes in GROUP OVERVIEW:
Group Overview
Creator: dme212
Group Name: Dan's Public Group
Create Date: 2008-03-06 08:31:32
URL: http://groups.diigo.com/groups/PublicDan

However, I have not invited anyone to this group...does Group Overview become editable when group contains >1 member?

ps/I noticed HUGE inconsistency when I logged in...my username is Dme212 and dme212 is unrecognized, however, the group creator is: dme212!!!! But you already knew this, right?

Signed out....signed in....noticed that username's are Initial Uppercase...
Signing out and then signing in has had not impact on sync of names.

FF 2.0.0.12 with a number of extensons
and I am STILL having this problem.
I can only see FIVE groups in the Options dropdown, six if you count the ------------- group.

I'd really like to have all of my groups available...what do you suggest?

Context (right-click) menu problem

Upgraded Diigo Toolbar for FF to v1.0.2007071900 and I'm unable to de-select "Diigo buttons are at the top of the context menu". Now every time I right-click the Diigo buttons are at the top and no matter how many times I remove the checkmark in "Options" it is automatically re-enabled. Please advise if this is intentional or a bug.

options & default toolbar change by itself

I have experienced a new difficulty with the toolbar for firefox. After selecting my options, the toolbar changes accordingly, then after a couple of hours or so changes back to the default by itself. When I click options again to reselect my preferences, they are already selected so I just click 'ok' and the toolbar returns to the preferences that I selected. Not sure if this is due to updates on the toolbar or if it is something else.

Can you state your version number of Firefox and the version of Diigo Toolbar?

my version of firefox is 2.0.0.4 and on the diigo toolbar 'about' tab it has diigo toolbar beta with 1.0.2007053100

I downloaded the toolbar that was sent to me, and it works! So far no problems at all. I love it!!!

Maggie wanted me to share how I found out about the diigo service. Actually I wasnt really familiar with bookmarking services till I ran into the add-on for delicious. After a short time of using delicious, and not being able to connect to my bookmarks very often, I decided to look for something else. I did contact delicious about the problem but received an automated response and nothing that would address the real issue. So I did give them a chance before looking elsewhere. I had no idea that there were other bookmarking services like delicious out there, but I had to find something. So I looked thru a long list of downloadables and save to your computer bookmarking type of things but it wasnt what I was looking for. I wanted something that was internet based so that I can have access to my favorite links from anywhere since I do travel occasionally. When I read the description of diigo I figured I had to try it. It had everything I was looking for and more (the sticky note things and groups and such). I found the service to be very easy to use, even the video is very explanatory. Another thing that I like is the personal assistance. I know its a lot of work for ya'll but it really does make a big difference. You guys should really be awarded for all this work. With this type of program and services that you provide I'm sure that in no time use of the service will grow to astronomical levels. I have already passed on the information about your bookmarking service to everyone I know. I'm sure my friends will do the same.

I wish you all the good and all the luck with your efforts. If there is anything else I can help with I would love to have the chance.

Great. Earlier I suggest you to make a quick post to share with others that so that anyone with similar problem can let us know (we will soon upgrade everyone)... But, thanks a lot for taking the time to share this feedback. Really great :-)
