Import from Simpy

When I try to import my bookmarks from Simpy it doesn't seem to get all of them. Any idea of what is going on.

I have 3,271 links bookmarked. Diigo only imports 10.

in the last weeks i tried multiple times to import my 240 bookmarks from simpy.
but they are not imported. either only ten imports like glenm stated or none at all.
the creationdates of my bookmarks are also not imported correctly.

did anybody succeed in importing from simpy?

Importing from Plum.com (Shoebox)?

I've been using Plum.com as my main social bookmarking service. As I give Diigo a try, I'm looking for a way to import my Plum.com content into Diigo. However, I haven't found a way to import the contents of an RSS feed into Diigo (or to subscribe to feeds within Diigo), and Plum.com doesn't seem to export to a plain HTML bookmarks file.
Any thought on how I could do this?

importing with Delicious API

When I try to import DEL bookmarks into Diggo, it says "Username and password did not match". I know I am not mistyping my username and PW (made several attempts). Is this a bug?

Del.icio.us banned import bookmarks to diigo though API :(. I suggest you to use "Import via bookmark file" here http://www.diigo.com/import_all/prepare?service=Delicious

How can I rename my account name? If not, how can I transfer my bookmarks, tags, sticky notes to my newly created account? Importing functionality doesn't seem to support this. Please help

Sorry, we don't have this feature:(. However, you can edit your real name( http://www.diigo.com/profile/havanaboy ) with any name you want.

And your real name is what shows up--your screen name, I guess, in messages and such. Mostly, anyway.

"Import Delicious" bookmarks

When I went to Import my Delicious bookmarks, it says "Temporarily unavailable due to some problems with delicious api." If I click on importing RAW SUGAR or from any other social bookmark site, it says the same thing about Delicious

import not working

i've just joined up, really like the look of this service, but am having a few problems.

when i try to import my local bookmarks, my browser hangs and i eventually have to use the task manager to close it down. so then i tried importing via magnolia. but when i click the import button, nothing happens at all.

oh, wait a minute! it's working now! at least, i've imported my local bookmarks no probs. i'll have another try with the magnolia ones too.

importing from Delicious- backwards

I just imported my del.icio.us bookmarks. Does Diigo not transfer the same SAVE DATE as when it was saved on Delicious? I do know that BlueDot/Faves.com performs this way. Also, after importing, my Diigo bookmarks are now backwards (my most current saved Delicious bookmark is now last in Diigo)

Moving all diigo bookmarks to another diigo account?

Since it looks like there's no way to change one's username in diigo, I thought I could just create a new account and migrate all of my bookmarks and clippings over to there, just as I had initially imported my del.icio.us bookmarks. But I'm not finding any way to do that -- any suggestions? Or, even better, any way to actually change the username?

Similar to all major services like gmail, our username is an unique ID -- since a lot of data are based on that, any change will impact lots of data in the database and could potentially cause unexpected issue. So as much as we'd like to help, we cannot easily change it for you. Sorry!

Meanwhile, one possibility that you may wish to consider: export and re-import again. However, please note - while export will export all data (bookmarks, tags, annotation, etc), currently our import function will not support annotation data.

importing from blinklist

I'd love to be able to use diigo, but I don't store my bookmarks locally. I use blinklist. I signed in to Blinklist, just to make sure, I clicked on Import (here on diigo), then Import from Blinklist button, then entered username/password, etc., then clicked on Import Now button. Nothing happens. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've attempted this. Yes, I'm signed into Blinklist, yes, browser is cleared and all the rest, and yes, I've tried signing out and back in again, closing the browser altogether, etc. It isn't difficult to do (I just don't want to waste anyone's time thinking I haven't done everyrhing I could do or perhaps I'm not doing it right).

I tried to work around it by just exporting from Blinklist to a file, then importing to local browser, but then all bookmarks lose tags (and I have over 1500) when imported to Diigo, and that's besides all the extra and unncessary characters that show up in each link that I'd have to clean up. Anyway, I don't want to do it this way, and since you do offer the option to import directly from Blinklist, I'd like to be able to use it.

Anyone have any ideas? I see nowhere on the site to leave feedback, to get support - this was the only place to leave this information.

Same problem here.

Just signed up today with Diigo and have attempted twice to import Blinklist links with no success. I have over 6400 links at Blinklist and do not want to re-tag.

I'd also like to know what if anything I can do to see a successfull Blinklist import. From what I've seen thus far, Diigo looks pretty impressive. Several features that I'm seeking/missing at Blinklist.
