How to clip video and how to make toolbar options stick?

1. When I click the clip video button, nothing happens. I'm not sure what's supposed to happen.

2. Whenever Firefox restarts, toolbar resets to beginners rather than customize. Maybe it's because I restart FF from crash. Just asking to be sure.

1.When you click clip video button, you can see "Clip it" top right with the flash in the site.
2.I'm OK about toolber. Firefox 2.0.0.9

My Clips Are Gone!!!

Recently I've faced the frustration knowing that a number of my highlights or clips are gone (from Diigo database?)! I need to describe this situation I'm facing as follows:

1. Quite a number of my clips, especially the old ones, simply disappear, leaving only the number(s) of the clips for each of my bookmark (the orange number that appears on the top right corner of each bookmark) and two features/commands/buttons that always appear at the bottom of each clip: 1. Add Sticky Note and 2. Remove. And that's all it shows to me; no content of the clips!

2. Some clips only show texts but not its accompanying images. Please understand that this happens after some time when I revisit the clips (a few months later) because by the time I clipped, Diigo could capture both texts and images.

3. In a rare case, Diigo would not completely capture the highlighted paragraphs.

4. Previously, my bookmarks and hightlights I just clipped would only appear after a few hours. This is acceptable, though. I guess this also still happens from time to time.

But the first item above really frustrates me and drives me to report this. I just want to know those disappearing clips could be restored and retrieved. I really want everything to get back to normal as I love Diigo. Please reply.

Sorry, the word 'clip' I used above meant for highlight texts and images; not video clip as one of the features Diigo provides.

===> Diigo only store the image link on the server. If the image is removed from the original site, diigo can't display it again. However, we will provide a feature to store images on diigo server later.

===> This is very unusual. Actually we haven't heard about this. Several users reported that "tag search" had some delay before, but the bookmarks could shown up in the "my bookmarks" just in several seconds after you did the clip. . Please tell us asap when this happen to you again.

Why i can't see the clipped pictures? -->> how to clip picture vs. video

Hi!

I can't see the clipped pictures either in MyBookmarks Expanded view or MyGropps Bookmarks expanded view. Could it be looked after?

Maggie i think this link will be opened in a new window. There is no problem in browser view only in the MyBookmarks/Group Bookmarks Expeanded view. Additionally I put this bookmark public until, i don't know it helps to see or not.
I'm using Version: 1.0.2007053100 toolbar.

Are you referring to those "star images" on that page?

I tried it and it seems ok - basically you just need to "clip" those image using our highlight function (they are not video nor flash -- "Clipit" is only for video clipping). Just use your mouse to select the image and click diigo to highlight http://www.diigo.com/help/highlight/1. You will see "collected to diigo" message shown briefly on the upper left corner of the picture that you just "clipped"

Please check again and advise.

Hi Maggie!

I checked, but the pictures did not appear even yet..
If you see my given link above in browser view you can see pictures embedded in the text highlights. (They are not stars:)
I highlighted them normally as embedded pictures in the text - not using the clipit.
The pictures appears as | symbol when i view this link (the bookmark name: The Stargate of Atlantis) in My Bookmarks Expanded view.

- Would it be the problem that this and all of my bookmarks are 'private'?
- Have you get at My Bookmarks Expanded view somehow, or i must take this (or those problematic) bookmarks public to be checked by you?

This same problem also appears in My Group Bookmarks Expanded view. In which these bookmarks also are 'private', as my group is also private.

- Are the Diigo functions somehow restricted using them 'private' mode?

By the way, i sent you earlier an invitation to join to my private group, to see and check those problems and to be a partner if you are interesting about this theme.

There is also problem with the highlighted links. When i highlight only a (standalone) link which is not embedded in a text, the link sometimes is retained sometimes not, when i see in MyBookmarks/My Groups Expanded view! (it worked earlier well) Would be the problem again the 'private' mode?
