Renaming account name

How can I rename my account name? If not, how can I transfer my bookmarks, tags, sticky notes to my newly created account? Importing functionality doesn't seem to support this. Please help

Sorry, we don't have this feature:(. However, you can edit your real name( http://www.diigo.com/profile/havanaboy ) with any name you want.

And your real name is what shows up--your screen name, I guess, in messages and such. Mostly, anyway.

On the help page, it says you are able to use your OpenID to make a new account. What I'm wondering is, is there a way to link your existing account with OpenID, like there is with facebook. A way to use your OpenID to log in to your existing account, you know?

could you please delete mine? I can't contact you by email and I wanted to avoid using the forums because I don't want any posts lingering around. Its not that I didn't like it, its just that I don't use it.

When you do delete my account, could you place an anonymous or such instead of my username? Or even better, delete my posts.

I would also like my account deleted. Diigo is great, I just decided to make a new username to correspond with another website, and as great as this is, I don't really need two accounts.

In the upcoming version, through a confirmation process, user can delete their own account. Since we're quite busy with lots of urgent matters now, we won't be able to attend to these individual requests now. Thanks for your understanding. Please be patient and wait for the new version soon to be released.

Please drop us an email to tell us which account you want to delete. In the next version, users can delete their own account directly.

Could you also tell us why you want to delete the account, so we can make diigo better for all users.

Any tips of quickly moving one bookmark to another user account?

Hi, I use 2 accounts. One for informal tagging and the other for formal tagging.

For the sake of clarity:

Informal tagging: Tags gone wild. Add as many as possible.

Formal tagging: For me, I stick to the rule of 5 tags or less only per one bookmark

Currently, I do this by having two different browsers opened, and re-highlighting/re-adding my sticky notes to the other account.

Is there a better way of doing this? Preferably saving only the bookmarks + sticky note + highlights - the tags?

The reason I say no tags is because I use the tag cloud/tag list as a preview for how useful the tags really are for searching on my formal tagging account.

(1) How can I change the e-mail address that is associated with this account? (2) How can I make the necessary changes so that all three of my user accounts will be set up with the same e-mail address? (When I originally set up the accounts I wasn't allowed to "re-use" an e-mail address that I had already used, but there was an indication that anything can be changed later, except the user name.) Hi xistnnn,

1) if you want to change your e-mail address,go to "my diigo>my profile>basic information" and click the "edit" button on the right side. Then you can change your email address.

2) Sorry, an email address can only be associated to ONE account.
