Their challenge is to identify where they can contribute and add in themselves as an option for the end user, for example in the Services links contributed module for the www.Drupal.org content management system. A web admin might be even more motivated to promote a service he or she think it better, than to offer just what is most popular. The vast popularity of email emphasises the need to inform even more people about the various ways and reasons to share. Many simply dont know other ways (or even reasons) than email.
