I am really not one to be referred to as an alarmist but after observing the state of Internet marketing Sacramento these previous 9 years or so, I am ready to say with absolute certainty that we are quickly nearing DEFCON 1 . What exactly does that mean? Well, keep reading and you will discover.

In military terms, DEFCON 1 implies that nuclear war is impending. In simple English, this means we're all pretty much screwed and might as well clean up our problems within your old kit bag and smile, smile, smile. We don't know just how much smiling I'm going to be doing when the end is nigh, but I'm certain not going to go out without a fight. And neither should you.

The fact is, Internet Sacramento Marketing is in a sorry situation for a number of individuals. I'm almost sorry I came out of retirement. These last few weeks have been depressing as nightmare. But why? What makes things so bad? Well, there are a variety of reasons. Some of them have been around for some time but have only obtained even worse. Other reasons are usually relatively new and also have thrown a monkey wrench into the works that have only caused it to be that much more difficult to get ahead.

Let's begin with some of the old stuff that has just gotten worse.

Regardless of the FTC proposed cleaning, spam and scams are more widespread than ever. If you believe I'm joking, check out your in box. I can't anymore and that's with all the spam filters in place that I can discover. I'm prepared to just abandon email altogether and go back to pen and paper. If you want me, be prepared to get a reply in about a week once the postal system gets around to delivering my response.

Bad sites are simply as common as ever before. Except now they're a lot more dangerous than ever. Trojans, worms, you name it, are out in full force. One recently entirely crashed my PC and that i had to reinstall every thing. That's when I went from XP to Windows 7 and was happy I had. Windows 7 appears to be much more stable and so far I haven't had any difficulties. But I'm certainly not holding my breath.

Point is, today is actually more risky than ever to even visit a website. And then of course there are hackers (we're fresh from the GoDaddy DDS attack) that will stop at nothing to make your life a holy nightmare, which further reinforces my perception that some people shouldn't be permitted to breed. But that's another issue for another time.
