While that will meat loaf is baking, I throw boiled potatoes in the bowl and a instant later, the mashed potatoes are done. Then this Kitchenaid 6 quart mixer is cleaned up in another minute of course, if the meat loaf is done, the kitchen is clean, dinner is served and best of all, and the wife feels I worked hard.

First thing I really like about this Kitchenaid 6 quart mixer is a solid steel construction, and I do mean solid. It is durable and the heavy frame means the grade of a stable platform with regard to really mashing potatoes, or if you need to triple the yield on cookie dough. (This works!). Next the Kitchen Aid Professional 600 carries a 6-quart bowl with toned wide bottom and easy pour tip. I would buy an extra bowls to facilitate multiple jobs, but if ordered by December there is a free bowl deal currently being offered.

The next thing I like is the strength. You will see and have the power of this machine on the first run. If any issue, it takes a little finesse to never pulverize some mixes. Really easy to implement admit that the first-time I made the potatoes and was having such fun that when I turned it off there seemed to be no texture left- but hey using a little butter the young people absolutely loved it. Curiosity made me look up how much power this machine has, and it was eventually a staggering 575 t. Now with out identifying names, the competition is running anytime from 300 to 450 watts. What I have seen on other reviews is that a lot of people, mainly women, complain regarding the noise. Well let everyone ask you, for a great drive around a closed down track, would rather get the super quiet Honda Civic or the louder Ferrari F430?

Guys, I absolutely love that Kitchenaid 6 quart mixer and highly recommend it to you.

The latest stand mixer we tested was that Kitchenaid Professional 600mixer. In the standard battery of tests this 6 quart Kitchenaid mixer preformed and it's earlier counterparts. It was easy to fix and operate with only some reservations about cleaning in back of the bowl clip, as this should rarely come up it is a minor concern. In this usage tests, we tested the Kitchenaid Skilled 600 mixer in just a few different categories, which incorporated egg whites, mashed carrots, cookie dough and the true test of bread cash. The results were the following:

    • Inside egg whites test, this machine whipped this egg whites into taut peaks quickly while leaving no unwhipped egg whites left inside bottom of the bowl. This test proves the quality of the design in that the whisk can pull from the bottom and side without the need of scraping the sides of the bowl.

    • The Kitchenaid Professional 600 mixer preformed similarly well inside mashed potato test. However a word involving warning - watch the potatoes closely as being the powerful 575 watt motor can certainly make your mashed potatoes into finely whipped potatoes rapidly.
