Google search features - you should use - 0 views

  • Abhishek Mehta

Though launching search engines has become fashion these days but Google is not only an iron horse but also a vanguard when it comes to adding interesting features to the searches. Catching up with Google for any search engine is not just difficult but seems unlikely in near future. So, it seems logical, if we users also start making our search experience with Google a better one by starting with these features.

There are many kinds of Crowdsourcing, based on domains in which they are performed and also on the kind of rewards given to the crowd. Crowdsourcing where a job is posted on online platform and the money is distributed to every individual for completing the task separately is picking up in big way. » web2.0分类:社会性网络书签Web2.0Share - 0 views

Social Bookmarking Research Study - 0 views

  • Brynn Evans

As part of a user study, I am looking for people who use bookmarking services online (like Diigo!).

We would like to ask you to complete a short survey. Although it is short, we greatly appreciate the time and effort you put into composing your responses!
  • Brynn Evans

As part of an extended user study, I am looking specifically for Diigo users! I am interested in how people organize and share information online and how does Diigo facilitate these activities. Diigo has many features other social bookmarking sites lack, so I need to find SF-Bay Area users who are willing to share their experiences with me (for compensation!). If you are interested in learning more, please email me: brynn.evans@parc.com. Or complete the survey on the website. Thanks!

Techcrunch » Blog Archive » Diigo is a research tool that rocks - 0 views

  • Diigo is a research tool that rocks
  • The Reno, Nevada based company’s name is an acronym for “Digest of Internet Information, Groups and Other stuff.” It does offer a browser bookmarklet, but you’ll want to grab the Firefox or IE toolbar to use the best Diigo has to offer.

  • Having a drop-down menu appear every time I highlight a word is, to me, the online equivalent of having a kitten constantly underfoot, as highlight automatically copies on my system. I had to uninstall Hyperwords because of this, but can use Advanced Dork because it requires an additional right click. I see a battle brewing…

If you don't feel comfortable with the menu appearing automatically, you can always disable it in the toolbar options.

Very comprehensive really. I still don't think twitter is that groundbreaking, but it's still an interesting enough service.
