When you own a network marketing company, you will have a whole lot of data to store. There does exist order information, customer info, downline information, lead info and marketing information.

While it's possible to store some information within a spreadsheet, I prefer to store everything in the database that I may then customize with the reports I need.

Some information will be supplied back by your company. Other information you'll be managing yourself.

My own personal favorite is FilemakerPro just by Claris. I've used it from the time that my first computer. It's readily available both the PC and the Mac. There are many other good databases out truth be told there.

With a database you may store absolutely everything you need and manipulate it any way you want. For example, I can store my downline in the database and make one of the fields birthdays. Then each month I can run a report of whose birthday is that month. In add-on, I can store the monthly sales level of each of my organization members and if I have to do some type of recognition I'm able to run a report for almost any month's data.

I also store company leads and customer leads in the database. In addition to name, address, phone number and email address contact information, I can also input whatever took place during our communications and the very next time we agreed I ought to contact them. Have you ever spoken to your lead and the human being has said "we are moving but I'd love that you call me in 4 months? " A database allows me to input both the point that they are moving along with the month I'm to call back.

I can store as i mailed a customer lead a catalog of course, if an order was placed. I can run reports to show who ordered which a few months.

When you market, you intend to track your ads. I'm able to store the contact information on the newspaper or a website in addition to cost and results, all on one record. I can even specify "type" and for websites I'm able to assign a type like "parenting site" or "health site". Then if I have a month I have to run ads only with parenting sites, I are able to pull that information up from my marketing data source.

I believe that you'll have improved control over your data in the event you store it all in a database.
