If you are planning a trip to St. Louis, you are probably searching for St. Louis activities. One thing that many people are interested in is a good way to see the city. In many cities, you can take bus tours, walking tours, bike tours, and the like, and they serve as a fun way to see the city you are visiting and to learn something about it. However, if you want a really exciting, unique way to see St. Louis, you should take a look at Zero G Touring and their Segway tours of the city.

    What's a Segway?

A Segway Personal Transporter is a one person vehicle that features two wheels. It balances on its own through the use of fluid based leveling sensors and gyroscopic sensors, and the rider only has to shift his or her weight for the machine to move in that direction. While many people are first intimidated by the two wheels, they find that it is quite intuitive and fun to pilot.

Most people are riding comfortably within a few minutes of trying a Segway.

    Zero G Touring

If you are looking for St. Louis activities, a Segway tour from Zero G Touring should be on your list. They have a number of options when it comes to services, including rentals, tours, and cruises.

They have two tours, and both will last about two hours each. You will be trained before your tour on how to pilot a Segway, and you will be provided with a helmet. Each tour is led by a Captain, who will direct you through the Forrest Park in the heart of the city or downtown St. Louis.

Forrest Park is a nearly 1300 acre park in the city of St. Louis, and it was the site of the 1904 World's Fair. Some of the many stops along your tour include the St. Louis Art Museum and the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center.

The downtown St. Louis tour is titled the Downtown St. Louis Then and Now Tour, and you will visit a number of historic landmarks, including the Morton D. May Amphitheater and the City Garden. You will also see vintage photos of many of these places along the way, showing you what St. Louis looked like many years ago. The tour ends when you take your Segways across the Eades Bridge, which spans the mighty Mississippi River.

What Do I Have to Do to Sign Up?

If this is now of the top of your list of St. Louis activities, all you have to do is contact Zero G Touring to make a reservation. They do require that all participants be over the age of 16, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. You will have to sign a waiver to participate as well.
