    One of duties of those nurses inside military hospitals was helpful the patients' diet just by preparing and serving your meals. Those nurses also distributed clothing, linens and other supplies. They also talked along with the patients look after the emotional in the soldiers. They did it by reading to deal with, writing for them and talking with them.

    Most nurses with the Civil War were Sisters from religious order. There are lots of nurses who prepared the survivors before they were transported to hospitals. There after, they continued to get more wounded soldiers. Definitely, the nurses were worth finding out about for the soldiers in the war.

    In the Civil War, the nurses are asked to wear brown or black clothing. Additionally, the dress had no any ornaments or frills no hoop skirts. The dark-colored dress was used since it did not stand available and show the blood. In this case, clothes was designed for function instead of for fashion. The dress was like curves and sometimes the nurses wore trousers.

    Additionally, there were many nurses that had high contribution through the Civil War. Without their existence the war could easily get worse and there may be more victims of the war. Therefore, you should be proud for those who have a nursing career for now. This is because nursing career will be very helpful for some others.
    The Civil War saw the main United States military decorations. The Navy Medal of Honor arose with a public resolution signed into law by President Lincoln subsequently on 21 December 1861. It authorized the preparation of 200 medals of honor to advertise the efficiency of the Navy. It was followed by a joint resolution of Congress on a single day which approved the design and defined requirement eligibility of the potential recipients. The Army Medal of Honor was established by the joint resolution of Congress, July 12, 1862 with the effective date; of April 15, 1861. The Medal of Honor was originally just to be presented to enrolled men for heroic service in the usa Army. However, as the war continued the award on the Medal of Honor was extended to incorporate Army officers. The Grand Army with the Republic reunion medals began to so closely resemble that Medal of Honor that will Congress was eventually forced to swap the Medal of Honor and to patent its new design.     With 1905 President Roosevelt permitted campaign medals retroactive to your Civil War. The Civil War Marketing campaign Medal (Army) was issued for any federal army service between April 15, 1861 a great April 9, 1865 (with extended service in the state of Texas as a result of August 20, 1866).
