  Have you ever wished you could play along with a recording that was too fast? I know I have. It turns out there is programs that can actually do it! For example, Pitch Switch is an easy to use program that can slow down MP3s, WAV files, M4A (iTunes) and more. Pitch Switch costs only $40 and you can use it on any number of files. Using it is easy, you just load your MP3 file and drag the tempo slider to speed it up and slow it down. It doesn't change the tone which is amazing! Pitch Switch shows the speed (tempo) in the lower right hand part of the application window.
  
  Pitch Switch can do more than just slow down your MP3s. It can adjust the pitch of your MP3s too. You can adjust the pitch of any MP3 by semitone increments using the "Pitch" slider (it's as easy as slowing down MP3s). As you change the sliders the key (and speed) change in real time, so you can adjust it by ear if you want. Pretty awesome.
  The last thing I should say is that you can also write your modified songs. Once you slow down a song (or change the key) you can store it as a new file and load it on your iPod.
