To be able to edit this "digital negative" inside Elements 10, just double-click the Raw file in the File Browser. The Camera Raw dialog may open, using a ton of options for adjusting the whitened balance, exposure, dark areas, saturation, maintenance, and more. You save your Camera Raw options and easily use them to other Raw images. Cool.

    3. Shadows/Highlights
One of our previous top 10 Photoshop CS features is now inside Elements 10: Shadows/Highlights. This command (found beneath Enhance - Adjust Lighting) is defined by default to lighten the shadows by 50 percent and to go away the highlights alone, however you can easily modify these configurations. This tool is a good solution with regard to times when a person wished you'd employed a fill up flash or simply any time you'd like to see exactly what the image would certainly look like if the shadows have been a little light.

    4. Healing Brush and Spot Healing Brush
Have you detected a trend yet? Many of our favorite Photoshop CS functions have calmly slipped in to Photoshop Elements 10. In this case, it's the Healing Brush, an ideal tool with regard to covering up difficulties in an image without playing with the underlying textures. Photoshop Elements turns into a leg up about Adobe CS, however, with the Spot Healing Brush-kind of the "one-step" healing tool.

    5. Auto Smart Fix
Normally, I'm not just a big fan of automatic image changes, but this particular one works very well. And if it doesn't appear to help, you can always undo it and try Adjust Smart Fix, a more interactive version of Smart Fix that permits you to use a portion slider to adjust the graphic (both choices are found in the Boost menu).

Smart Fix is particularly beneficial if you first duplicate the Background layer and apply Smart Fix to the copy. Then you can lower the Opacity of the duplicated layer in the Layers palette to reduce the effect of Smart Fix.

    6. Cookie Cutter
If you've always aspired to have a photograph cut in to the shape of a butterfly, a heart, or a paw print, now it's possible-and incredibly simple. (OK, to never have wanted to do this, yet I'm sure you'll find ways to use this kind of tool, once you see exactly what it does.)

Just choose the form, click-and-drag, resize if needed, then hit Enter and you're done. Really, I would definitely recommend duplicating the Background layer first and concealing it. Then, apply the Standard shape to the top (duplicated) layer. That way, you'll still get the effect of the Cookie Cutter, however you'll have a built-in back-up plan in case you convince you.

    7. Organizer
A Windows-only feature, Organizer lets you arrange images and instantly create Internet galleries and glide shows, including presentations that may be shown in your DVD player. Comparable in many ways to be able to the File Browser in terms of photo organizing, but with numerous added functions, Organizer includes integrated access to diary and email features.

    8. Duplicate Layer Command
OK, so that it may seem like a fairly lame factor to put on a top 10 list, but to me, it's a reason to celebrate. adobe elements 10 tutorials, adobe elements 10 tutorials, adobe elements 10
