The Nabucco collection followed in 2007, providing collectors with a mechanical watch with 200m water resistance and integrated high-tech carbon fibre material; the same year gave us the Freelancer collection and saw Raymond Weil receive the '2007 Industry Award' from the State of Geneva.

Further achievements include Raymond Weil watches becoming an official partner of the UK musics scenes most important yearly event, The BRIT Awards in 2008, with expansion in the U.S. and India opening the family business up to even greater global prospects.

Raymond Weil watches brings back the old world charm of the original watchmakers. This family owned and operated business has only been in existence since 1976, but has made their presence known in the industry already and has built a solid reputation as a superior quality watchmaker. In researching the brand, it becomes clear in an instant that one of the many reasons they have created such a successful brand is because they know what the consumer wants and are able to deliver consistently.

The brand manufacturers their luxury timepieces from their headquarters in Switzerland, where the most famous watchmakers made their name. Their designs are well thought out and luxurious in a way the exudes timeless grace. The line is not cheap, yet their collections are not overpriced either. The moderately priced watches are high on style. A few of their most popular collections are the Don Giovanni, the Nabucco Rivulzione, and the Freelancer. They are responsible for creating a few limited edition watches, as well like the Nabucco Cuore Caldo, but for the most part their business is made up from traditionally elegant pieces like those from their RW Sport, Othello, and Tradition lines. Of course, Raymond Weil makes women's watches, as well. The Shine, Parsifal, Tango, and Noemia collections are highly popular and really well made women's timepieces.

One of my most favorite is from the Shine collection. The RW Women's Shine watch #1800STI05383 is at the top of my list. If you're not familiar with the line, it may be time to check out what they have to offer. You might be surprised at what level of quality you get for the money.

Of all the variety of fine watches out there, sports watches are probably the most popular, versatile, and objectively useful. Many people (especially the types who can afford luxury products) are very committed to maintaining an active, adventurous lifestyle.

Though there are many types, colors, styles, and builds of sports watches, a physically active person has to hunt for the right watch that will be a good fit for them. One thing to take into consideration is the extent to which a watch is waterproof- someone who can't swim will have different needs from a diver, a kayaker, or a deep-sea diver. Another important aspect is altitude- a pilot has very different needs from a mountain climber who has different needs from someone who lives in the Los Angeles basin. So whether worn on land, sea, or air, sports watches sport (excuse the pun) different features and technologies to accommodate.

For example, since most divers only descend to specific depths, the extent to which a watch is waterproof and can resist the pressure of the ocean varies from 10 feet to 660. Raymond Weil Watches - Parsifal Precision, raymond weil watches, Raymond Weil Watches - Parsifal Precision
