The Show Me online museum is an extensive collection of free fun,
educational interactives based on museums and galleries from the United
Kingdom (UK). Browse the list of hands-on game simulations or select Pick
a Topic from the menu on the left. Every game lists the museum home for
the topic. The Teachers button organizes the Show Me resources by topic
and provides an index of Interactive Content, Related News and Supporting
Resources.

Kinetic City is a free, online interactive collection of science experiments,
games, activities and challenges produced by the American Association for
the Advancement of Science (AAAS), with major funding from the National
Science Foundation. Students select games and activities from three main
areas: Lab Car, Science Gym and Mission to Vearth! Each activity begins
with a science briefing, an explanation of the activity, procedures for the
activity and then a debriefing with a Print option for later use. The Mind
Games include simulations such as Power Up! in which students try to
power a city without breaking the bank. Smart Art introduces creative
writing and art. Move Crew provides hands-on games and activities such
as Respiration Relay for a blood-cell relay race. Watch the scoreboard as

Quest Atlantis (QA) is an international learning and teaching project that uses a 3D multi-user environment to immerse children, ages 9-16, in educational tasks. QA combines strategies used in the commercial gaming environment with lessons from educational research on learning and motivation. It allows users to travel to virtual places to perform educational activities (known as Quests), talk with other users and mentors, and build virtual personae. The project is intended to engage children ages 9-16 in a form of transformational play comprising both online and off-line learning activities, with a storyline inspiring a disposition towards social action.
