  If you've ever had to shift the key of an CD, MP3 or other audio file? I have, and nothing is more time intensive than just looking about to find a record in the proper key. It sometimes does not exist, and sometimes you just wish it was as easy as a mouse click. Well, I recently discovered "Pitch Switch". This great application can be used to key change music files on your personal computer to any key. It is a piece of cake to use, simply load your music file then use the "Pitch" slider to shift the tone. It can even can work as the song is playing, to help you tune it by ear if you would like. At last, a great way to pitch change recordings.
  
  Pitch Switch can even switch the BPM of music, so that you can slow it down, to make it quicker to learn (or increase the tempo, but I don't know if you want to do this or not). It holds the pitch constant while adjusting the tempo. Truely mind-boggling! If only I'd discovered this sooner, it might have spared me several hours searching for files. I wonder the way I ever did anything without Pitch Switch. I recommend you take a look in case you are anything like me and you will want to key change MP3s regularly.
