Timing of IWB Challenge - UK schools on summer break - 67 views

    All UK schools are currently on their summer break lasting until early September. The wiki suggests to complete 1-7 of the challenges - however UK teacher will not have the ability to apply them in the classroom. Any ideas how to best include UK teachers in the challenge?

    A lot of US teachers haven't started yet either. I'm in the northeast. The area typically starts the last week in August/first week of September. Should we all just start at Week 1 whenever our school starts?

    I would love to rally some teachers to participate, but we have the same problem -- I really think this is a terrific idea... would ideally like to start a couple weeks AFTER school starts -- as we all are a bit insane the first couple weeks. Will the content stay up? Part of the value of this will , of course, be sharing the results, reading each others' posts, so really would like to participate with a group... could there be a later / "second round" cohort?

    I agree with Tom,

    I was about to ask the same question. This is the time for a short break before the Fall semester here in Newburgh, NY. I will be able to use the SmartBaord when I am back to school (college). August 25 is the first day of classes. Can we postpone the beginning of the WB Challenge adventure till September?
