  • None of these kids have ever had teacher privileges in Moodle. Four out of 12 never bothered watching the clips - they just worked it out and completed the task within 5 minutes! Another six watched the clips and got the job done in about 10 - 15 minutes. Two of them got the job done in about 20 minutes. They were all pretty pleased with themselves!

She listens to songs for specific types of adjectives and verbs, and she also chooses songs that have appropriate subjects that her students can discuss after the exercise.

Grammar activities can include filling in the blanks for grammatical patterns, word banks, matching, organizing lyrics in strips, theme-related activities, open-ended questions, spelling and rearranging letters, and figurative language activities.

What we call authority is the right we give others to author us, to make us who we are… That right is one we no longer give only to our newspapers, our magazines, our TV and radio stations. We give it to anybody who helps us learn and understand What’s Going On in the world.”
