    With technological know-how being so advanced, solar cells are taken to an alternative level. There are family vehicles, cell phones and cars.

    Solar Heating

    Solar heating systems use a source of smart light, a surface or liquid that can absorb light and a storage device for the resulting heat generated. A greenhouse is among this effect. Solar heat is unequivocally the cheapest and most practical form of renewable energy in the world. Some practical uses are water heaters, ovens, cookers and home heating.

    The term renewable energy simply refers to energy that is produced in nature that is unlimited or replenishes itself. There are actually primarily four categories of renewable energy used at the moment:

    * Solar

    * Wave

    * Wind

    * Kinetic

    Solar power

    Solar power is perhaps the most commonly used version of renewable energy. The sun's power has been harnessed by mankind since early civilisation and storing the power of sunshine is a technology that's been around for decades.

    There is a major problem of solar pv of course: it's only available daily and is reliant on clouds and also the weather. In the northern hemisphere it's doubtful that solar power will ever be able to provide much of our home energy use but it can still be harnessed for a whole host of uses.

    Solar powered devices have come along way from the small digital watches and calculators it's possible you'll remember from childhood. Solar pv can now be useful to power a whole sponsor of devices.

    Solar power chargers can recharge nearly almost any device that takes batteries. From MP3 players to cellular phones; PDA's to solar notebook chargers, pv powered chargers allow most of these devices to be recharged free, together with eco-friendly.

    Wave Power

    Within the coastline, there are actually many-wave energy products that will be converting the power with the sea into electricity. Wave energy is incredibly difficult though and it is while the UK can be an island and has the advantage of large amounts of coastline, wave energy is not available to all nations.

    Wind it manually Energy

    Perhaps the most useful for generating energy for our homes but wind energy does come with its disadvantages. Windmills, which convert the wind's power into electricity, are very large and are unpopular features relating to the landscape. They are also limited to the quality of energy they can produce - and of course when there is no wind there's no energy production.

    And while we are a considerable ways off from being capable to power the entire country with wind energy we can provide some, lifting most of the burden from the LASER emitting power stations.

    There are also some wind energy products readily available home use. Wind powered lights are for sale to the garden. Rather than simply turn wind power into light for electricity, wind powered garden lights store the force created by the wind within a battery, allowing you to make use of the light when needed - even when there is no wind.

    You can also find wind powered chargers. This will help if you ever make any errors in your connections in other words to fix. Once you are familiar with your energy systems and get them running then it's better to add more.
