I just purchased a Fuji Water-resistant XP30 camera for a small and lightweight camera intended for each day use. I do have two semi-professional digital camera models, however this one seemed compact enough to carry it about with me on a regular basis. And since I actually travel a great deal I imagined that Fuji XP30 digital cameras' GPS navigation Geo-tagging capability would make my photos tagging faster and much easier. That helped bring us to my first frustration using Fuji XP30:

I still haven't figured it out yet the way to tag the images with authentic place names, and I'm not necessarily a newbie in terms of water-proof cameras. All I managed to get was the list with all the geographical locations (latitudes and longitudes). On the optimistic side, the standard of the photographs taken using the Fuji XP30 Camera is really good, even when put to use as an idiot camera with automated settings.

If the GPS location dilemma was in fact the only one I would say that this Fuji digital camera is really worth the cash I purchased it for ( about 150$), but there's an even greater dilemma: the battery of this XP30 camera works really quickly, in the matter of hours. You possibly can make it carry on a little longer if you shut off the GPS location searching, however, you will still require an extra battery in order to work with it for more than 4-5 hours. To make the trouble worse, the Fuji XP30 digital camera activated accidentally inside my pocket a couple of times and the battery was already drained even before I got down to capture my first picture.

The dimensions of LCD display is 2.7", which is okay, however their promise of anti-reflective display that can be used even in the bright sunshine proved not to be accurate.

The Auto-focus function and graphic stabilization of Fuji XP30 digital camera to take the picture of moving things did the trick really well. I tested it when taking the pics of my kids riding their bicycles and every time the image was well focused and sharp.

Taking the videos with Fuji XP30 digital camera is straightforward and the standard of the video is really good. Yet I had significant problems with the audio when taking the video clips. For starters, I wasn't able to transfer the audio. Next, after wasting a lot of time fiddling with the various functions on the Fuji XP30 and on the provided computer software the audio did turn up, but it truly was totally out of synchronization. Making it even more frustrating, while zooming in or out while recording any movie you can hear the zoom action in the video clip afterward.

In summary, if you want to use the Fuji XP30 camera regarding daily use or you're having the challenge with unintentionally damaging your digital cameras it is almost certainly well worth the money you'll pay for it. But when you don't get the chance to continuously charge your batteries you should find something different.
