    I love, love this time of year! It's been a cool 62 degrees, the leaves are turning colors, ahh…Fall. You know how there are some weeks you can't get anything.
    I have just been SO busy with the end of the school year...plus my husband and I found out that we are having a baby!!! YES! Our first one! So I have been super super.

    I made a First Day of School picture frame for the kiddos to hold as I take a picture. I attached the big star labeled "1st" with velcro on the back.
    I know some of you are and some may not be using the Reading Street program, but we have to in our district. I actually don't mind it now because of all the progress.
    I kind of wish my one little word (OLW) for 2012 would have been organize. It was really "faith", but that's another post and a half that I'm not ready to talk about.
    I created some signs tonight to put outside my room. Hopefully this will help my first graders find us when we are out of the room and they are coming back from the.
    We read all about bats and then sponge painted around them. We wrote three 1st grade spring art bat facts on a graphic organizer.
