This industrial strength, yet easy to use tool is easily the best sitemap generator I've found yet. You don't need to install anything on your website or make any changes because Sitemap Creator's a desktop application. Thanks to Sitemap Creator I no longer have problems with configuration on my server (no more out of memory errors or problems like that). You can schedule sitemap creator to run automatically (it has an interface for the Windows Task Scheduler that's really easy to use).
  Since it's a stand alone application (and doesn't run on the server) it doesn't have any server side requirements. It doesn't need PHP, ASP, Ruby on Rails or anything like that to work and it doesn't matter if your hosting is Linux or Windows based. Just download it to your computer and run it.
