Oriflame is an MLM company selling high-quality, natural, Swedish cosmetics. It has around 3.4 million consultants and has operations in 62 countries across the world.

Oriflame are champions of direct selling. In fact they love it! The whole Oriflame business model is built around direct selling, and they constantly stress the importance of one-to-one marketing - in other words selling their products through a network of Distributors. They believe that direct sales allows customers to get advice and inspiration from people they know and trust, and that buying direct is also reliable and convenient.

Although Oriflame has grown to become a major international company it has never lost sight of its original goal - selling cosmetics from friend to friend.

While this commitment to their goals is admirable, it maybe needs revised slightly to bring itself into the 21st century. I am about to share with you an alternative way of selling Oriflame, one that will explode your business and add hundreds of people into your downline for free. What's more, although it is different, it also remains in line with Oriflame's mission statement, and never once betrays the aims of the company.

The whole point of Oriflame and network marketing in general is that sometimes it is better to buy products from somebody you know and trust, someone who can give you the best possible advice on what are the best products for you. But the thing is, in practice, the vast majority of people don't know enough friends and family to make large amounts of money with Oriflame. Yes, you might do OK out of it, you might make a nice little bit of residual income, even a small full-time wage. But if you really want to take your business to the next level you need to think outside the box a bit.

I am NOT telling you to ignore the people you know and trust, and I just telling you to change the way you think about what 'trust' actually means. Trust is all about how you position yourself in the market. You don't have to personally know someone in order to trust them. Trust can be earned and built-up, so that people know and trust you without ever having even met you.

Think about it this way. Do you personally know everybody who runs Pepsi? Are you on first name terms with the owners of Walmart? Do you live in the same neighborhood as the CEO of the Bank Of America? No, of course you don't. But you still trust them, right? You still buy their products or use their services because you know that they will be the best. Experience and observation have shown you that these companies can be trusted, and you are happy to part with your money and do business with them.

So why can you not do the same with your business? The answer is you CAN.

You can use the internet as well as the power of the written word to make yourself known across the country and the world. You have instant access at the click of a button to people living across the other side of the globe. You can post blogs that will be read in China, you can participate in forums from Australia, you can submit promotional pieces to article directories that will be read in the United Kingdom, Canada, and beyond.
