Excellent, informative overview of the Flat Classroom Project and how it has developed since 2006. Very creative descriptions provided by students involved in the project. Once you watch the video you're going to want to try this project with your students! Very motivating!

The opening video played at the inaugural Flat Classroom Conference hosted at Qatar Academy, Doha Qatar in January 2009. It is a review of the beginning and development of flat classroom projects from 2006-2009. The Flat Classroom Project was created by Julie Lindsay and Vicki Davis based on the book by Thomas Friedman "The World is Flat." A fantastic "best practice" example of how Web 2.0 tools can support global collaboration and learning.

Shareski TV, Ustream.TV: Presentation by Kathy Cassidy - 0 views

This was an outstanding course presentation for Dean Shareski's class with online guests (Kathy Cassidy, Clarence Fisher, Darren Kuropatwa). Kathy presented her experiences with technology in her first grade classroom--focus on learning and NOT the technology. All presenters demonstrated how their students use blogs/wikis and other Web 2.0 tools.

One of the best learning experiences with some real classroom pros I have experienced recently. I've listened to it several times and learn something new each time! Awesome course taught and shared with all of us by Dean Shareski-ECMP 355.
