I was also surprised at where the Interactive tag ended up. I think June and I have a similar dilemma, which is we are somewhat handcuffed by the type of work that we do to use open interactive websit...

I should have discarded the EDTEC448 tag like you guys did, lessons learned, but no big deal. I like how June incorporated some site elements into her summary (methods of teaching and media). WELES b...

I was surprised too that the Interactive Communication tag wasn't higher on the list. I know that I use many of those items everyday and so do my students.

Definitely a site geared towards our "Information Site" category, the courses for sale on the right hand side of the page are fine, but what may be really valuable are the links scattered throughout the rest of the document that share instances and scenarios dealing with security incidents/violations.

I thought this one was cute. Its primarily for kids, but the topics and especially the tasks requested (its a design-type of project meant for collaborative learning). With the right type of class, this WEBQUEST program could be a great "filler" for extra credit or when time allows.

Also an interactive-type site that I found. I would LOVE to have something like this as a resource, especially to take the place of some of the more antiquated LMS systems I've used in the past. Definitely an outstanding collaborative learning forum.

These are graphics, designs, etc. that could be used to visually enhance curriculum tools and materials. Amazingly easy to find, but I would have never even looked in the past (before I took this course.)

This is another site with interactive potential for the training programs we run. This is already a gov.-sponsored site so that is a big plus.

Here's one of the few interactive sites I thought may be a viable option for some our customer training programs. We've used CISCO products in the past, and behind the right security firewalls, we could possibly use these WEB 2.0 resources to have students communicate lessons with each other and/or other SME's.

This site is interesting because it combines a bit of both an information site format with a historical event format. Though the content itself may not be germane to what most or our team members do for a living, I thought from a teaching standpoint, it might be interested to see what type of information resources we use for curriculum.
