  That was before I started prospecting online, and after that I was pitched by people from another hundred or so companies. What happened was I had found a new way to make a huge amount of money that almost nobody knew about, then I brought my business online to share with everyone and my bubble was quickly busted. Most of what I see people doing today is basically trying to trade enough links to make a huge income. If I have more than one friend who is in the same company, I see the same copy and pasted message over and over.

  why is marketing importantSo I am just going to give in for a minute and say that if you copy and paste links all over facebook, it does work to get people into your business. Lets just say that it does work for the sake of this post. With any kind of marketing like this you are occasionally going to get people to click on your links and maybe someone will even join your business. Then same thing is true about solo ads, banner ads, and anything similar because what happens is people are actively doing something but you have some kind of ad that catches their eye and they click on it. The reason I choose not to paste links all over facebook is because its kind of like going to a chinese resaraunt and the whole menu is written in chinese. If we cant read chinese we would just pick which ever one looks best. The same thing is true when people go into some kind of network marketing group because they are failing at their own business. Many people come to these groups seeking a better way to market their own business, they think that the people who are pasting all of these crazy links know what they are doing, so they just pick whatever link looks best. This is almost what I did however I found someone who led me to a system that actually taught me that I was doing everything wrong. I still failed for a while but it wasn't from not knowing what to do, it was from trying to do everything all at one time. Alot like working on a car, if you only need to change the oil but you get sidetracked into rotating the tires, then you start washing it, and then you start to clean the inside out. We just started with one mission in mind and pretty soon we have a small piece of alot of different things that we got started on but since we got sidetracked we have a big mess now.
  
  Alot of people never really stop and ask why is marketing so important, however it makes since because it is key to running any business online. Lets take David Wood for example. The first time I ever listened to him talk about how he used article marketing to get his posts to rank at the top of google I said to myself " I need to do article marketing". Now I ask myself "who actually thinks like this"?
