So to help avoid you killing your website before you get it established, here are 5 easy ways to kill your blog. Please don't do these. At home or in another place. And before you consult -- yes, this list comes from personal experience. One learns from mistakes in the end. And yes, I've just picked the top five. I'll save the various other 995 for later.
1. Don't let your eyes raise than your watch.
Starting a blog is not only a matter of getting a domain and then writing about what you want. There are a lot of other elements involved. That's why you should run your blog being a business. However, like any business there are two techniques for getting things done. You can pay inside money. Or you can pay with time. Unfortunately, most people pick occasion. And you have an extremely limited amount of which. Whether you have ten hours inside a week or eighty, you still can't generate ten articles, do two videos and something audio and publish a blog entry every day. If you take on a lot of, you'll soon find which you aren't spending any time for the blog. Or sleeping. Or eating. Or living.
2. Be erratic with the blogging
Oh, the joy of this hobby blogger. And the fun from the eager reader. Has this blogger written anything this week? This month? This year? Is this blog useless? One of the worst actions you can take to an eager reader just isn't be there when many people expect you. So pick a routine and stay with it. Disappear for a few weeks and watch your audience disappear too!

Like it or not Google owns the earth. At least the web world. Do article marketing? People find the content using Google. Do video marketing? People find the movie using Google. Do social marketing? People find your tweets by Google. (Who do you would imagine provides the search tools?) Before you begin blogging, you need to discover your keywords. Then you need to incorporate your keywords in your site entries. And hope the periodic personalization entries don't screw up your keyword list.

But I just wanted to produce a web log of our thoughts. People want to examine my insane meanderings. Don't they? Generally speaking -- not any. Sorry. Don't mean to disappoint nonetheless they are coming to you for any reason. With a few conditions, that reason is they share an interest in your topic. So unless you undoubtedly are a comedian or a current Will Rogers or Mark Twain stick to the topic. A few personal items is okay. Too many and your readers will eradicate clicking on your site.
