I seem to remember trying out this site some time ago. As a resource for making music it was awesome but I think that you have to upgrade to a fee based account if you want to save and/or download your music creations. I hope someone will comment on this?

"Web 2.0, also sometimes called "new media" or "the new web," is a more social and collaborative way to interact with the web, enabling users to customize their web experience more easily than ever before. Perhaps most importantly for educators, Web 2.0 tools are incredibly customizable across grade levels, content areas, and learning styles. Unlike most pre-packaged software, web 2.0 tools can be tweaked to fit very particular content and pedagogical needs."
