ADAD is a (UK) national organisation that supports the practice and appreciation of dance of the African Diaspora. We want dance of the African Diaspora to be visible and valued as part of the British cultural experience.

Ford Foundation grants in arts and culture foster the creation and sharing of new art as well as the documentation, preservation and revitalization of traditional creative forms. We also seek to enrich our communities by broadening the access and involvement of diverse audiences.

The Arterial Network is an informal, dynamic network of individuals, institutions and funding partners working to support the effectiveness and growth of African arts and culture in civil society and to enhance the sustainability of creative industries in Africa.

Danish Center for Culture and Development (DCCD) promotes cultural co-operation between Denmark and the developing countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East through:

* Presentation of art and culture from the developing countries in cooperation with partners in Denmark and abroad
* Information and advice about cultural exchange and cooperation
* Allocation of funds for Danish cultural cooperation with developing countries
* Co-ordination and implementation of festivals in Denmark for the developing world's cultures
* Facilitation of capacity building within the cultural sector in the developing countries as well as presentation of Danish art and culture.

The center provides the framework for large initiatives such as the Images festivals and information projects.

The Ghana Cultural Fund (GCF) is governed by a framework between the Royal Danish Embassy in Ghana and the Danish Centre for Culture and Development (DCCD) in Denmark.

The GCF has a total budget of 5.65 million GH Cedis and it is scheduled to run for three years 2007 - 2009.

The objective of the fund is to strengthen inter cultural relations, mutual understanding and promotion of democratic values among the people of Ghana through inter-cultural expressions and interactions.

It is also to foster Ghanaian/Danish collaborations through the contemporary Arts and the preservation of our shared cultural heritage.

The EU gives culture an important place in development cooperation by:

* systematically integrating the cultural aspect in all its policies, projects and programmes,
* funding the preservation of cultural heritage and the emergence of viable cultural industries,
* covering living culture and cultural heritage - both important for growth, jobs and cultural identity,
* encouraging its partners to include culture in their own poverty reduction strategies and national development plans.

Unlike other donors, the EC gives priority to promoting and supporting its partners' culture rather than focusing on the promotion of its own culture.

African Theatre and Performance WG will work to further the understanding and appreciation of African Theatre and Performance by facilitating and maintaining scholarly discourse and collaborative research in the fields of African theatre and performance.

Dance/USA sustains and advances professional dance by addressing the needs, concerns, and interests of artists, administrators and organizations. By providing services and national leadership, Dance/USA enhances the infrastructure for dance creation, education and dissemination.

La Chaire de gestion des arts Carmelle et Rémi-Marcoux contribue à l'élargissement des connaissances en réalisant des recherches sur une diversité de sujets liés à la gestion des arts dont les résultats font l'objet de publications. Dance Films Association, Inc. (DFA), a non-profit, tax-exempt, member-supported service organization, promotes excellence in dance on camera and public awareness of the artform through its annual Dance on Camera Festival, Dance Film Lab, publications, grants, and workshops. Its many partners help to bring its touring programs to a wide public. Dance on camera is a collaborative art, one that fuses the ageless art of dance and the century old art of film. DFA aims to impart that spirit of collaboration to the world and to encourage a keen awareness of the magical ways to interpret time, space, and energy.
