It's sad but true: I have decided to remove those members who not only have never shared a single bookmark (not to mention comments!) ever since they joined in this group but haven't subscribed to group digest email alert . And the only damage this awful decision could possibly cause is the decline of the numbers of memberships - from 54 to 31.

Hey guys, I just redesigned the group avatar 'cause we need something new for our group in case unfortunately some of you take me as a lousy administrator (guilty as charged! :P). I chose light blue and the pattern (created by me in GIMP) which I think fit the winter mood quite well. Anyway, I wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and don't forget to share some interesting bookmarks once in a while! :O)

There's nothing that wearies (or disgusts) me more than spam; unfortunately, one of the group members did something that totally breaks the rules and trust we all should have as part of the this tiny family. I am aware that self promotion matters a lot, but being excessive is unacceptable, no excuse!! consequently I decided to cancel the membership of the spammer and I apologize for the his immodest manner - not to mention the troubles he gave me - and I do hope from now on this is the end of the sad "SHAME ON SPAM" story.

By the way, I know most of you haven't actually share any bookmarks so far, but you can actually do something else to help this group. Please log in your diigo account and click on the "Group Linkrolls / Tagrolls ( New! )" on the sidebar of the group page. You can choose either group widget, linkrolls or tagrolls, then paste the code on your website, myspace, or blog so people get to know what this group is about. I'm sure some of your friends must also be some sort of art lovers, right?!

Finally, thanks again for joining this group. Let's do our best to keep it nice and warm, shall we?! =D

I hate to do that but I just deleted a couple of bookmarks that have nothing to do with ART. Of course everyone gets excited when they see/read/hear of something new and interesting and are desperately eager to share their discoveries with the world, BUT PLEASE, let us keep this little group as pure and simple as what I intended it to be from the very beginning, i.e., a place that you can discover and share related resources about ART. By the way, I am glad that our group attracts some new members. Welcome!! The best way (and a much better way than StumbleUpon) to share your bookmarks is through Diigo Toolbar, which you can download on this page http://www.diigo.com/tools.
