Pencasts are audio-annotated animated diagrams produced using the Livescribe Pulse smartpen's Paper Replay application. Pencasts are movies that present animated ink strokes synchronized with what was said as the strokes were drawn. Beyond simply scrubbing back and forth (fast forwarding and rewinding using the playhead marker), users can click on a particular portion of the diagram to begin playing a Pencast from that moment.

(Michael Gorman) Welcome to a post that covers those other ten Word Cloud Generators and some are pretty amazing!  While Wordle is the king of Word Cloud Generators here are some other word cloud tools that have some outstanding capabilities that are worth investigation.  Each tool provides a unique way  that can be used in  the classroom to facilitate the creation and study of word clouds. I especially was impressed with a few tools that actually helped students analyze a group of text using more than just the generated cloud, another that allows the user to be creative with the cloud shape, and still another that connects words in the cloud to web pages! Sie bildet die Grundlage für die Entwicklung des SVEA-Lehrgangssystems mit dem Web 2.0 und der kollaborativen Plattform mit dem Ziel, die Akzeptanz des Web 2.0 in Einrichtungen der Erwachse- nenbildung in Europa zu fördern.
Die Analyse beleuchtet zunächst den aktuellen Stand der Verbreitung von IKT und Social Media in Deutschland. Im Anschluss daran werden der Bedarf, die Trends und die Barrieren im Zusammenhang mit der Integration von Web 2.0-Anwendungen in die Berufs- und Erwachsenenbildung erörtert.
