There may be a way to do this that isn't apparent to me at the moment, but there are times when a member posts off-topic links to my group and I would like to send them a message informing them of the problem, but I am only able to remove their membership. Also, I would like to be able to send a message to my new group members, but only see the button to approve them, not add a message.

Please reread my post. This is not an issue of wording.

Exactly, David, and if people are members of your group, you should be able to send them a message - either to welcome them personally, automatically, or to address their bad behavior.

I recently imported a collection of bookmarks, and when the importing was complete, discovered that they were all tagged with all of the folder names contained in the html file, rather than the individual folder name. Is there a quick way to correct this? It's quite a large collection and it isn't practical to re-tag them individually.

It was an exported bookmark file. There are about 1000 or so bookmarks involved, which need to be properly tagged. I marked them as private in case there was a problem with the import, so I can delete and re-import them, but the issue of proper tagging of those bookmarks remains.

I created a new bookmark file from some selected Firefox bookmarks using a tool called Advanced URL Catalog. jordysoft.com Once the desired bookmarks were selected, I exported them from withing AUC to an html file and then imported them into Diigo. They import fine into IE, just not Diigo.

I am using Win XP SP3.

It occurred to me that it may be helpful to have a video on Diigo on how to properly use tags when adding a bookmark. When I began using Diigo, I mis-tagged nearly 700 bookmarks with a group tag which actually was not related to the bookmark topic.

I have now gone through all of the bookmarks I added to that group and removed those which don't apply to that group, but it was a bit of an undertaking. In the process, I discovered a little glitch. If one deletes all of the bookmarks presented (say 100 on that page), Diigo doesn't present the next page of results, so you have to conduct the search again to resume the search.

Additionally, it would be great to be able to do a search for tags in a boolean way (tag "x" and NOT tag "y")

Additionally when bookmarks are deleted from a group, the tags block does not update right away with the new tally of items with that tag. Clicking on the tag, however, does bring up the items remaining in the group with that tag.

Finally, one of the drop down items when selecting items in a group is to move those items to a different group. Had this been an option, I would have used it to be sure that they were all present in the right group - which I think they probably are, but wanted to be sure.

I can save bookmarks but not to any of my groups. In fact, there are no groups presenting in the drop-down and I am also not presented with a friends drop down.

I created a new group today and uploaded an animated GIF as it's identification but then immediately noticed it was animated. I am wondering if it would be possible to enable animation?

I have been using the Diigo linkroll in my wordpress sidebar for a very long time now and just realized that it isn't updating. I have it set to only present my links with a particular tag, and it suddenly stopped updating, even though I have posted many new bookmarks with that tag.

Hi Maggie,
I have just begun to use Twitter actively, and also post to Twitter from the Diigo dialog. I have 2 enhancement suggestions.

The first is for Diigo to show if a link has already been tweeted by me, as it shows that I have already bookmarked something.

Secondly, I need to post to multiple accounts, so it would be ideal if Diigo enabled me to choose to which accounts I wanted to post a particular tweet.

Is this possible for consideration? You are always so far ahead of the curve I'm actually suspecting it is already in the works, but if not, do hope it will be REALLY soon.

I am using my Diigo linkroll on my blog and would like more bookmarks to be presented such that I can control the quantity, up to 350 or so. Also, I am wondering if there is code to separate them by the date I added them? Right now they are a long list. Ideally, I would like to be able to center the date and make it a contrasting color to stand out a little.

Hi Maggie,
I happened to check my accounts on the other social bookmarking sites this morning and discovered that only 3 of the nearly 1000 bookmarks I have made since I did a mass import on October 23 (to correct the previous malfunction where Diigo wasn't posting to them) have been cross posted to the other sites, so Diigo is apparently not completing this task even though it is reporting "bookmark saved"

I have friends on the other platforms that I share bookmarks with and didn't realize they weren't seeing my new bookmarks.

Thanks Joel. Apparently you have to have the new toolbar installed to access that link as I got a 400 bad request response from it. The V3 toolbar doesn't work for me, as you may have read on the V3 group, so I'll just proceed with the current toolbar.

There are times when I have a bookmark I would like to share with 2 of my groups. I tried CTRL click tonight and wasn't able to select 2 of my 4 groups so ended up doing it in 2 steps. Did I miss something or is this a planned feature by any chance?

I am trying to upload a new image for my group avatar and each time, regardless of the image I select, I get an apache server error. The images are under 200k.

Also, I just created a group and would like to change the name but not the url for it. I should have put a hyphen between the 2 words. Is this possible?

Hi Maggie,
Concerning Clip It, or any new features, could we have a button that pops up on the toolbar when a new feature is introduced to "learn more about it"? I was thrown off by clip it appearing on my web pages suddenly and had no idea as to its purpose. I don't use the quick D function of the toolbar so am not certain Clip it can even work, or how it works, with the main Diigo button.

Thanks very much for persevering with this. I really love the colorful tabs add on to Firefox. It makes it much easier to navigate open tabs, so need it to work with Diigo, and Diigo work with it.

I inadvertently added a Diigo bookmark while I was offline. It reported that the share to function failed, but once back online, when I tried to add it to my group, it reported it has already been added. How do I fix this? I want it to get posted to my group, and the other platforms I have selected.

I recently updated my Diigo toolbar and suddenly the colorful tabs add on for Firefox is being blocked by it. If I disable Diigo, it works fine. I hope this is something which can be quickly remedied.
