Changing group owners (second request!) - 35 views
-
As much as Diigo offers lots of very advanced features, it's nearly impossible for us to have all the every possible features that one wishes to have. There are "MUST-Have" and there are "nice-to-have" features. Our development priorities must be given to tasks that we deem are most urgently needed by most of users, not just occasional needs.
This is added to our To-Do list. Meanwhile, if it's very important for a group to change the ownership, please let us know - we will be glad to assist.

Thanks for reporting. Feeds were temporarily "broken" due to our new server setting change for the upcoming release. Should be fixed now. Please check.
NOTE: again, our work requires a lot of concentration and sometimes we have very limited bandwidth. At times we may be in a "radio silent" mode in order to get things done. Please be a little bit patient at time like this (and knowing that it's rather difficult for us to respond to every single communication, although we do try hard to monitor and interact with our users as much as we can...)
Our team has been working countless hours to deliver good services to our users all these time. Positive encouragement and recognition for our hard work are appreciated! -
Nathan,
Thanks for the note. No worry, and understand completely. thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
my message is directed to the public (ie. why we seem unresponsive sometimes). Small team, but large ambition. Like to get things done, in our own way :)
Thanks again for everyone's continued support.

Thanks GL for sharing the tip!
Indeed, you can use these view annotation filters. In the upcoming release (new V4 site & toolbar), we will be rolling out even more anti-spam measures to allow more specific sites blockage and spam reporting. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience & our community members' active help & involvement!

Thanks Graham for your help .
XHTMLteacher - hope this works well for you. Indeed, diigo is packed with lots of subtle yet powerful features throughout. Despite our effort to have as good a Help file as possible (help.diigo.com), we have very frequent update and sometimes it's often challenging to describe every single feature in details (note: diigo team continues to work hard on further refinements & lots more cool R&D development under the hood...)
You have a good point - it may be a great idea to come up with a HELP section that focuses not necessarily on just "features", but on lots of "How-to Tips" based on various usecases...
We're pretty bandwidth constrained at the moment. Should our community members find this a worthwhile project to assist our users to get much more familiar with Diigo's capabilities, we'd love to invite diigo fans to help get this knowledge base going!

Compatibility with the latest FF browser version - 69 views

Diigo V4 is forthcoming shortly. V4 toolbar is also fully compatible with the latest FF browser upgrades whereas the current public V3 toolbar may not be.
There are extensive changes in both website and toolbar. Since they couple in closely, both the new website and toolbar must be released together. The development work is taking longer than we originally anticipated, but our entire team is working very hard to get the newest version ready ASAP.
For those who already upgrade to the latest FF but found some incompatibility with our current V3 toolbar, here are two suggestions:
1) Before the public launch of the new toolbar, please use Diigolet.
2) If you're a heavy diigo user who just cannot live without diigo toolbar for mission-critical work, and would like to help out with our confidential V4 alpha testing and agree to keep everything strictly confidential, please email us (info@diigo.com) and submit your diigo username and reason for your interest. We only have limited alpha spots and will approve request on case-by-case basis - preference goes to users with extensive diigo usage history
We sincerely apologize for any temporary inconvenience, and thanks for your understanding and continued support. Stay tuned, as diigo continues to evolve and get better and better!
PS. Given our very limited bandwidth, we may not be active in user forums lately as all of our efforts are focusing on getting things done. Since we're a small team, we don't have dedicated person just focusing on "customer service" as we all wear multiple hats and juggle many things at once. But do keep your feedback coming. Don't worry - even if we may be 'radio silence" at times, we're still doing active listening. Thanks for your support and understanding. -
A new public V3 FF toolbar (compatible with the latest FF browser upgrade) just posted to the Tools > download area available for all to download. Thanks for your patience.
Meanwhile, we're charging full speed at V4 rollout preparation. Stay tuned!

SEO / commercial site promotion / irrelevant postings to public groups / improper usage of public annotation are strictly not allowed. Should you notice any inappropriate activities, please help us to flag them as spam. Violation will lead to prompt account privilege suspension.
More anti-spam measures being implemented. Let's keep Diigo a great personal productivity tool & knowledge sharing space that all can enjoy! Thanks

We're avid Diigo users ourselves as well. We've identified the tagging / server access issues caused by a conflict with a new backend system (a new release will be forthcoming shortly) and working to resolve ASAP. Rest assured that your data is fine.
Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for your patience and understanding while we get these fixed ASAP. The entire diigo team is working hard to make diigo better and better. Not only will we get the fix done soon, a new release will be rolled out shortly! Stay tuned!

Furl cache : Please note this transfer only takes care of link transfer first. Regarding your Furl archive (cached) articles - we understand that many furl users value their furl cache. If you need to access those cached pages now, you can still sign into Furl to view / export them
Meanwhile, given that there are quite a bit of technical complexity involved here, we are discussing with Looksmart to come up with the best possible solution to transfer those cached pages, but it will take a while. So, please stay tuned!

Sure. that would be nice... and noted
However, back to juggling nice-to-have vs. must-have. Too many on our must-have to-do list already. With limited bandwidth, we must spend our time on areas that deliver the most impact.
Still, feedback like these are welcome and encouraged. Know there are endless improvements needed, there are "blindspots", and always good ideas abound. So, please keep them coming. Thanks
STICKY SPAM - NEED TO RESOLVE THIS - 29 views

Hit the wrong action button. accidentally removed. Sorry!
Besides the view annotation filter, next toolbar will enable a new filter. Stay tuned... Still, with any open system, the community members can (should) help out - please continue reporting / flagging spam. Thanks -
Agree with 3spots
Just like wikipedia and many great web platforms, Diigo is also an open system. Although we've implemented many anti-spam measures and will continue to do so, ultimately, having active community policing support is very important.
Welcome ideas, even "rules" suggested by the community members...
Meanwhile, next toolbar release there will be an additional user preference filter setting. Stay tuned...
