After using Diigolet 4.0b14 to annotate http://www.hastac.org/node/1294
and as a precaution considering recent loss off annotations
I used the contextual menu within Safari to
add the page as PDF to Evernote 1.4.9 (57356).

Toolbar of PDF is unexpectedly printed, across the text of the page.

The conflict seems to be easily reproducible. PNG versions of the PDF:

Seems to happen every time. Visible in another (unrelated) screen shot at

    Comparison

Using Safari 4.0.3 (6531.9) in Mac OS X to print to PDF, without Evernote, but with the toolbar of Diigolet 4.0b14 present:

    * elements of the toolbar are printed, but placement is normal (at the head of the page)

    Workaround

Roll up (hide) the toolbar of Diigolet before using Safari (or the Evernote contextual menu item therein) to produce PDF

      — files 004.pdf and 005.pdf demonstrate the result.
