suggestion resolved thanks orientation group bookmark view e-mail alert notification puzzle help 973002 978264 981897 gpd4
'Only if I sign out from Diigo, I gain a group meta view of yuppi c's most recent bookmark: http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.diigo.com%2Fpeople%2Fsearch%2Fadvance?gname=Diigo_HQ '

If I pay careful attention to alerts/notifications via e-mail, I can discover an alternative view of the bookmark, with a numeric ID in the URL:
http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/977561
— that's a nice view, clean, simple
— focused on a single bookmark :-)
Question
How can I learn the numeric ID of a group bookmark?
Without an alert via e-mail, how else can I regain views such as
http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/977561 ?

Since alerts are not being received, I have absolutely no way of getting what I need :-(

I know that bookmark number only because I clicked 'Comment' in the e-mail before trashing the e-mail.
I need a way of discovering those numbers, those URLs, without e-mail.
Not you?
I don't understand:
Recent bookmark? That link leads to advanced name search Diigo_HQ
No, I don't see the number.
Example: at http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ?type=bookmark I see no way to refer to a particular bookmark.
They need to track bookmarks so maybe it's in the cookie somewhere:

Only slightly less dizzying, the multiple steps described at http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fgroups.diigo.com%2Fgroup%2FDiigo_HQ%2Fcontent%2F978264?tab=comment&gname=Diigo_HQ
What I really want is a simple way to refer to a bookmark.
Bump, please, without this feature/knowledge I can't really contribute to Diigo groups in the way that I want to.
BTW, why do you want to know the ID?
PS: again I can't see the content of the meta page. Get 'missing plugin' msg like this
(I honestly can't recall whether/how the feature appeared in Diigo 3.x, but it'll really help me to speed through private group work …)
Now, for example at
http://groups.diigo.com/group/Web2?type=bookmark
we can use the More menu of any bookmark to gain a link to that bookmark:
Now that I see what you mean, I think it should also be directly accessible from the meta page too.
No?
PS: the diigo.com/friends/search link now lead to an error page. Is there a changement or something ???
