    Bug

    Pencil icon is missing, and so:

    * no contextual menu, and so
    * the highlight can not be edited or deleted
    * notes can not be stuck.

    Diigolet 4.0b14
    Safari 4.0.3 (6531.9) in Mac OS X

    Workaround

    1. my library

    2. seek and find the bookmark

    3. find the highlight

    4. remove

    5. click the title of the bookmark

    6. wait for the page to load

    7. load Diigolet and prepare to re-draw the highlight.

    Whilst I'm beginning to appreciate the range of colours that can be drawn, I really don't like the over-reliance on the icon for the contextual menu. Please, please revert to Diigolet 3.x -like behaviour for simpler, faster, less complex, more reliable appearance of contextual menus.

    * no pencil icon, no contextual menu, so again:

    - I can't delete highlights
    - I can't stick notes!

    Today using Diigolet 4.0b14 with the same page:

    * no problem with any of the highlights.

    (Incidentally: using my library in management view, I deleted a duplicate highlight, but that duplicate persists in Diigolet.)

    Bugged in a slightly different way (and so I have edited the title of this topic):

    as usual with Diigolet 4.0b14 the last highlight had:
    * a speech bubble
    * with the number '1' (one note stuck)
    * but no contextual menu.

    If I set Safari to zoom text only, then zoom in massively, I can 'force' the pencil icon to appear but still:

    Specifically: zoom in until the start of the highlight coincides with the 'soft' start of a line. There's an element of luck to this.

    Bugged: at http://n2.nabble.com/Try-out-the-iGoogle-Quick-Entry-widget-td3100144.html#a3822970 nearly all of the pencil icon is hidden. I can get the contextual menu if I hover very carefully in the tiny area (maybe two pixels deep) that is visible.

    includes Diigo 4.1.0.5 for Firefox … AFAIR a user of Firefox reported similar problems shortly after Diigo 4.0 Beta was released … if I steered that user towards Diigolet, the steering may have been premature.

    * NOTES DO NOT APPEAR :-(
    * impossible to add a second note :-(

    I am reminded of the comment from Branislav Blesák around four weeks ago:
